The favorites are viewed as likely winners, but one game is expected to be closer than the other. We break down the DraftKings Sportsbook betting splits.

The 2019-2020 college football bowl season kicks off in a little over 24 hours! On Friday, the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl kicks off at 2:00 p.m. ET and the Topical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

With the games fast approaching, DraftKings Sportsbook has released betting splits for the two games. In the early game, the betting public is backing the Buffalo Bulls over the Charlotte 49ers in a big way. 79 percent of the handle on the point spread and 83 percent of the handle on the money line are on the favored Bulls. 88 percent of the handle is on the under. This all comes as Charlotte faces questions about their top two tacklers. Linebacker Jeff Gemmell has been playing through an ankle injury and defensive back Marquavis Gibbs is dealing with an undisclosed injury, but both have continued playing.

In the late game, we have an interesting split. 66 percent of bets on the point spread are for the favored Utah State Aggies, but 61 percent of the handle is on the Kent State Golden Flashes. Meanwhile, a sizable majority is betting the Aggies on the money line. This all comes amidst questions about a recent marijuana-related arrest for Utah State’s starting quarterback Jordan Love, starting running back Gerold Bright, and wide receiver Sean Carter. All three were cleared to play in the game.
