The Pittsburgh Steelers are getting healthy at just the right time. The team wrapped up their Thursday practice for Week 16, and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and tight end Vance McDonald were both able to practice in full, according to team reporter Missi Matthews.
Smith-Schuster has been sidelined since Week 11 with a knee injury. He was progressing back last week but had a setback. He was limited on Wednesday this week and has now been upgraded, which bodes well for Sunday.
McDonald missed last week with a concussion but has cleared the concussion protocol. He has been a full participant both days this week.
Fantasy football analysis: Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, TE Vance McDonald
The fantasy upside to the Steelers is limited given their quarterback situation. Devlin Hodges is not a good quarterback, and is coming off a four interception performance against the Bills. The Jets are a bad defense, but it’s hard to see much upside. James Conner will be a decent volume play, Smith-Schuster is a low end flex at best, and McDonald is a start in deeper leagues but not much else.
