The Vikings and Seahawks face off in a game they both need to keep pace in their division races. Both teams have plenty of fantasy players to choose from but Adam Thielen will not play based on multiple reports. That should boost Stefon Diggs, Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith Jr.
Looking at the ESPN fantasy projections, Russell Wilson leads the way against a Vikings pass defense that has been their weakness this year. Kirk Cousins sits behind his running back Dalvin Cook with 17.4 projected fantasy points to Cook’s 21, as it should be, as Cook only has Christian McCaffrey ahead of him this season.
The absence of Thielen does narrow things down a bit, but after Diggs, we still have Rudolph, Smith and Bisi Johnson to choose from, which isn’t easy. The projections favor Rudolph but still don’t like him for a big game with Smith there.
Josh Gordon still hasn’t done enough to believe he’ll take much away from Tyler Lockett or D.J. Metcalf and even with Chris Carson being out played last week by Rashaad Penny, the coaches continue to stand behind Chris Carson.
