The Atlanta Falcons are feeling optimistic about getting wide receiver Julio Jones back in action for Week 14. Head coach Dan Quinn said Jones is “trending upward in terms of his availability for Sunday’s game against Carolina,” according to beat writer Jason Butt. Quinn said Jones had a “much better chance” of playing if Week 13’s game had been Sunday instead of Thanksgiving.
The Falcons host the Carolina Panthers this Sunday, and we’ll get the first official injury report on Wednesday. Jones was a DNP all three days last week. The Thanksgiving morning reports had him set to play, but the team decided to deactivate him for the game.
Fantasy football analysis: Falcons WR Julio Jones
If Jones is active vs. Carolina, you play him — it’s that simple. It’s the fantasy football playoffs so there is always concern of an aggravation or other issue, but if you’re in your fantasy playoffs, I don’t see how you sit an active Jones, even at less than 100 percent.
