Amari Cooper returns to full practice in Week 14

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper appears to be on track to play on Thursday Night Football in Week 14. We break down the fantasy football implications.

The Dallas Cowboys face the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football in Week 14, and it sounds like wide receiver Amari Cooper will be good to go for the game. Cooper injured his knee on Thanksgiving, leaving the game briefly, but finishing it out. He had an MRI last Friday that revealed no structural damage.

The Cowboys are playing on a normal week of rest given their Thursday-to-Thursday schedule, and so they put in a normal workout on Monday. Cooper was listed as full, and told the media his knee healed better than he thought it would and he’s “good to go,” per beat writer Jon Machota.

Fantasy football analysis: Cowboys WR Amari Cooper

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott made a point to target Cooper regularly on Thanksgiving. Prescott targeted Cooper 11 times, and the wide receiver finished the game with eight receptions for 85 yards.

If Cooper is active as expected in Week 14, he is a solid start. The Bears are a solid defense, giving up the second fewest fantasy points to the wide receiver position, but look for Cooper to be a solid volume play.
