The Jacksonville Jaguars released their final injury report for Week 16, and while wide receiver D.J. Chark is listed as questionable, Doug Marrone expects him to play, according to team reporter John Oehser.
Chark injured his ankle in Week 14 and sat out the following week. He was limited all three days this week, but it does not sound like this injury will come down to a game-time decision on Sunday.
Fantasy football analysis: Jaguars WR D.J. Chark
Chark is not 100 percent, but he’s a must start against a bad Falcons defense. He’s the eighth-ranked wide receiver in fantasy points per game, and is facing a Falcons defense that is in the middle of the pack for fantasy points allowed. There is some concern about the Jaguars shaky quarterback situation, but Chark and Gardner Minshew have established a strong rapport over the course of the season.
This decreases Dede Westbrook’s value to some degree, but he has some decent upside against this Falcons defense. Chark is a must start if active, while Westbrook is someone to consider in flex possibility.
