This game started ominously for the Buccaneers, as Jameis Winston’s first pass was returned for a touchdown by Bradley Roby and then on his next drive, he threw another interception, this time to Justin Reid. The Texans ended up taking a 10-point lead, pushing Winston and company to play catch up all game.

Houston could get very little going offensively, while the Buccaneers moved the ball easily. Unfortunately, Winston’s fourth interception, his 28th of the season ended a promising drive with under two-minutes remaining.

The Texans owe this win to Winston, as the Buccaneers defense played very well and their offense out-gained the Texans 435 to 229 yards. DeShaun Watson had one of his worst games of the season, as he completed 19-of-32 passes for 184 yards and an interception. Watson was also hurting, as he had a foot injury that had him limping around the field.

After a tough win over the Titans last week, this was a letdown game for the Texans, but they got the job done and won the AFC South a ticket to the playoffs. They play the Titans next week, but might not have much to play for, but the Titans will, as they still have a shot at making the playoffs.
