The Titans backfield has a big question heading into Week 16. We break down the fantasy football implications of Derrick Henry showing up late on the injury report.

The Tennessee Titans made an unexpected move on Saturday, announcing that running back Derrick Henry has been downgraded to questionable on the injury report. Henry practiced in full on Friday after sitting out Thursday and being limited on Wednesday. He originally did not have an injury designation after Friday’s practice.

Fantasy football analysis: Titans RBs Derrick Henry, Dion Lewis

This situation just got really interesting really quickly. Henry has been a machine of late, and his absence would swing quite a few fantasy matchups. He only had 86 yards last week, but his previous four games he surpassed 100 rushing yards each game and had 149 or more rushing yards in three of the games. Additionally, he scored at least one touchdown five of the past six weeks and 10 of 14 games this season.

If you can grab Dion Lewis, you probably should. It could either serve as a handcuff if Henry sits or as a way to block an opponent who has Henry. Odds seem decent Henry plays, but we’ll keep an eye on this one.
