San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel is getting all sorts of looks in Week 16 as Kyle Shanahan looks to scheme his team back into the game against the Los Angeles Rams. Samuel has two receptions for 28 yards and two carries for 28 yards and a touchdown. He took a carry 19 yards for his first rushing touchdown of the week and cut the Rams lead to 14-10.
Samuel had an up-and-down start to his rookie season, but he has started to find some consistency in recent weeks. He’s up to double digit fantasy points in this game, and has reached double digit fantasy points in seven of his past eight games. He’s a spot start option, but is looking like the kind of weapon that could become a regular flex start or maybe even WR2 in deeper leagues next season.
