UPDATE: Higbee returned to the game in the third quarter.

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee has suffered an injury that appears to be a wrist issue in Week 16 vs. the San Francisco 49ers. Higbee left the game late in the second quarter holding his wrist and had trainers check it out.

Gerald Everett has come on in place of Higbee, but Higbee had been incredibly productive. He had six receptions for 71 yards prior to the injury. Everett had been the starter prior to injury, but he’s been splitting snaps in this first game back. Everett has been targeted once thus far.
