Spread picks for every NFL game in Week 16

It’s been an up and down season in picking games against the spread, but I’m coming off a big week. We’ll see if I can build on it. Here’s my full list for Week 16.

Week 16 is upon us and well underway! We’re in the penultimate week of the 2019 season, and we already have three games under our belt. We did not have any Thursday Night Football, but we did have a Saturday triple-header. The Texans edged out the Bucs in a game that ended up a push against the spread. The Patriots scored a late touchdown to beat the Bills, and a two-point conversion got them the cover. The 49ers beat the Rams on a field goal as time expired to get the win, but failed to cover the 6.5-point spread.

We’re back for a Sunday slate that features all sorts of playoff implications. The 1:00 p.m. slate is topped by Titans hosting the Saints and the Steelers traveling to face the Jets with both teams tied for the final wild card berth at 8-6. We also get the Bengals with a chance to clinch the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The 4:00 p.m. slate is topped by a huge Cowboys-Eagles playing to claim “supremacy” in the NFC East.

We’re back once again with picks against the spread. It’s been a struggle this season, but I had a shockingly great Week 15 performance. I went 12-3 last week, and entered Week 16 sitting at 113-104-3 on the season. That might be the high water mark of the season! I’m 1-1-1 thus far after Saturday’s triple-header.

It’s a tougher slate of picks this week as things come down to the wire. I like the Ravens heading into Cleveland, even as a double digit favorite. Ten points is a lot, but this Baltimore team is on a roll and I think they get some revenge for their last loss this season. I’m also taking the Colts -6.5 at home against the Panthers. Betting against a rookie quarterback making his debut can be tricky, but I think this is a good spot — especially with T.Y. Hilton off Indy’s injury report and Curtis Samuel a question for Carolina.
