D.J. Moore ruled OUT in Week 16 due to concussion

Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore took a tough hit on a pass break-up in Week 16. He walked off the field with trainers. We’ll track if he returns from the injury.

FINAL UPDATE: The Panthers have ruled D.J. Moore OUT due to his concussion.

UPDATE #3: The Panthers are evaluating Moore for a concussion as the first quarter comes to a close. He eventually went to the locker room.

UPDATE #2: Moore has his helmet on while sitting on the Panthers bench, per beat writer Jourdan Rodrigue.

UPDATE: Moore was spotted standing on the sideline and Chris Hogan as in the game in his place, per beat writer Alaina Getzenberg.

Carolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore was shaken up on a first quarter play in Week 16. He was taken down hard on a pass break-up and walked off the field with the team’s trainers. The Panthers offensive drive ended after that play, so we’ll see what the next drive brings with Moore. He has one reception on two targets for one yard.
