THIRD QUARTER UPDATE: Drake returned to start the third quarter and rushed for 15 yards on his first carry.
UPDATE: Drake has run back to the locker room with 23 seconds left in the half, but apparently looked OK running, according to beat writer Josh Weinfuss.
Arizona Cardinals running back Kenyan Drake has suffered a leg injury and is being evaluated in the team’s medical tent. He went down hard late in the second quarter and after talking to trainers was trying to shake his leg out. He’s since left the medical tent and is on the team’s sideline.
Drake ran in an 80-yard touchdown in the first quarter and has 109 rushing yards and nine receiving yards. David Johnson has replaced him in the starting lineup for the time being.
MORE TO COME.
