Kyler Murray injures hamstring, Week 17 up in air

Kyler Murray dealing with hamstring injury, status unknown for Week 17

Kyler Murray pulled up as he scrambled out of bounds when he felt a tightness in his hamstring. He left the game at that point with a 20-7 lead early in the second quarter and didn’t return. Brett Hundley took over and held down the fort to win 27-13.

Murray says that he has “no idea at this point” if he’ll be able to play the Rams in Week 17. Before he left, he was having one of his best games and it was coming on the road in Seattle. He had completed 11-of-18 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown, adding 40 yards on the ground.

Murray is right up there with Josh Jacobs for the NFL Rookie of the Year award, as he has quietly had a strong rookie campaign. They won’t push him to play next week, but if he is healthy, there’s no reason to hold him out. If he does end up playing, we should be able to rely on him in DFS and redraft fantasy football against the Rams.
