UPDATE: Embiid is listed as the starter for tonight’s game vs. the Pistons.
So no Kennard or Brown. Jordan Bone also shows up as out with left knee soreness. pic.twitter.com/E7MfT0XV3g

Looks like Embiid is good to go tonight, though we didn’t get official word on whether he will play. This is as good as we’re going to get before tip-off.
UPDATE: Embiid is considered a game-time decision along with Neto for Monday vs. the Pistons.
Both Raul Neto and Joel Embiid will warm up before their final statuses are determined for tonight’s game vs. #Pistons

Ruh roh, we’ve seen this type of news before. We’ll have to wait closer to tip-off to see if Embiid will get into the lineup tonight. If Embiid does play, I think he’s a decent GPP play if he isn’t going to be held back, but remember, the Sixers are playing on Christmas and Brett Brown could want his superstar fresh for a big game vs. the Bucks.
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is questionable to play Monday night vs. the Detroit Pistons.
Joel Embiid (questionable - illness) and Raul Neto (probable - illness) both missed shootaround this morning due to illness. #Sixers

Embiid and PG Raul Neto are both dealing with an illness and neither participated at shootaround Monday morning. This comes a few days before the Sixers play the Milwaukee Bucks on Christmas Day.
Fantasy Basketball Analysis: Philadelphia 76ers C Joel Embiid
So with any time Embiid is out, we should see Al Horford slide over to center and Mike Scott play PF in the starting lineup. If Embiid is out, I’d almost look at the other side of this game and the Pistons. It’s a lot easier to deal with Horford and Scott than Embiid down low, so Andre Drummond would be in a nice spot in DFS. It’s a large slate, so I don’t know how much of this game I’d want exposure to. If Embiid sits, Scott ($3,200) is a decent value and Horford ($6,300) isn’t a bad GPP play.
