Report: Dwayne Haskins dealing with high-ankle sprain

Washington QB Dwayne Haskins suffers a possible high-ankle sprain and could miss Week 17 against the Cowboys.

Dwayne Haskins was forced from Week 16’s matchup with the Giants due to what is now being called a high-ankle sprain according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Haskins says he wants to play against the Cowboys in Week 17 but they will need to get results from an MRI scheduled for Monday first to see the severity.

If the MRI reveals a true high-ankle sprain, Haskins will most likely be out and Case Keenum will fill in for him. The Cowboys still have a shot at the division and the playoffs if they can beat Washington and the Giants can beat the Eagles in Week 17.
