Mark Ingram suffered a calf strain Sunday against the Browns and was forced from the game. An MRI revealed the strain but the teams is hopeful that Ingram will be able to return in three weeks for their first playoff game according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The Ravens will likely rest ket players in Week 17 against the Steelers since they have clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC. That gives Ingram a good chunk of time to rest his calf and get ready for their playoff game. Gus Edwards and Justice Hill are the main backups and we could end up seeing one or both rested in Week 17 in case Ingram has any setbacks.
