The Arizona Cardinals are returning to practice on Tuesday in order to give the players’ Christmas Day off, and quarterback Kyler Murray is expected to take part, according to team reporter Darren Urban.

Murray injured his hamstring in the third quarter of Week 16 against the Seattle Seahawks. Brett Hundley replaced him with the team up 20-7. The Cardinals went on to win 27-13. Murray finished the game 11 of 18 for 118 yards and a touchdown with 40 rushing yards. Hundley completed 4 of 9 passes for 49 yards and rushed for 35 yards.

Fantasy football analysis: Cardinals quarterbacks

Murray appears to be making progress, but given how valuable he is to the team’s future and the fact that there is nothing to gain in Week 17, it would not be surprising to see him sit. Murray is $5,500 in DraftKings, while Hundley is $4,500. It’s not a massive price differential, but an extra $1,000 is helpful if you decide it’s worth rolling the dice on Hundley. You’ll get rushing yards from Hundley, and the Rams could decide to rest some key defensive starters. If that’s the case, Hundley’s value grows for Week 17.
