There will be a ton of football going on Sunday as the regular season winds down, which means there will be plenty of chances for some lesser known players to make their marks on the gridiron. Quite a few pass catchers exceeded expectations in Week 16 and helped DFS players rake in the cash. The same could happen this Sunday, and we want you to know who you should look out for.
We took a look at what wide receivers could give you some serious bang for your buck in Week 17’s 15-game slate.
Hunter Renfrow ($4,500), Raiders
Renfrow exploded against the Chargers after missing three games from a rib injury and was a focal point of the Raiders’ offense. He converted nine targets into seven receptions for 107 yards and a score as Oakland took down Los Angeles 24-17. That translated to 26.7 DKFP. This doesn’t mean Renfrow will remain a crucial part of his team’s offense against Denver in Week 17, but he’s the kind of wild card that just might pay off.
Albert Wilson ($4,200), Dolphins
Wilson hasn’t really been a staple in Miami’s offense during any point in the 2019 season, but his production has ramped up as of late. He notched a season high 15.8 DKFP last week on seven receptions for 79 yards and a score while also recording one nine-yard rushing attempts. Wilson has also reached double-digits in fantasy points in three of his last four appearances. I think he could very well finish up the season on a high note.
Tajae Sharpe ($4,300), Titans
This Titans wide receiver easily had his best game of the season in Week 16 by reaching the end zone two times while totaling five receptions for 69 yards. His two scoring plays were both improbable, but he could still have a larger role than usual in Week 17 if Corey Davis (concussion) doesn’t play. Adam Humphries (ankle) is also listed as questionable and could affect Sharpe’s usage.
Randall Cobb ($3,900), Cowboys
Cobb received seven targets and hauled in five of them for 73 yards and 12.3 DKFP. He has gotten at least five targets five times this season and reached double-digits in fantasy points in four of those games. In two of those contests he eclipsed 24 fantasy points. If Washington decides to key in on Amari Cooper it could create space for Cobb to thrive.
