Can Luka Doncic and Karl Anthony-Towns return from injuries? We look over the initial lines for Thursday’s six-game NBA slate.

It’s the night after Christmas and don’t have quite as many stars in action for tonight’s six-game slate. With that said, we still have star players to talk about. Luka Doncic and Karl-Anthony Towns have both been out for multiple games and appear close to returning to their teams. If they play, the Mavericks and Timberwolves will both get a boost. Minnesota is the team most in need of getting back its All-Star. The Wolves are riding a league-worst 11-game losing streak and are fading from the playoff hunt. They were above .500 prior to this recent stretch and have fallen all the way down to 13 in the Western Conference. As a result, the Timberwolves are now priced at -335 to miss the playoffs.
