UPDATE: The DraftKings Sportsbook betting public thinks Air Force will cover the spread in the Holiday Bowl. The Falcons are a 2.5-point favorite against Washington State and as of Friday afternoon, 67 percent of the point spread handle and 63 percent of the point spread tickets are on the favorite. 54 percent of the money line handle is on Air Force, but it’s worth noting 55 percent of the tickets bet are on the Cougars.
thinks the Texas Bowl will be a close one. Texas A&M is a 4.5-point favorite, but we have a 50/50 split on the point spread betting handle and 60 percent of point spread tickets are on Oklahoma State. On the other hand, 57 percent of handle and 57 percent of tickets bet on the money line are on the favored Aggies.
If you remember last year’s Cheez-It Bowl, it was one for the ages. An all-time classic between Cal and TCU featuring nine turnovers and a 10-7 Horned Frogs victory in overtime. If you’re a fan of weird bowl games, let’s hope this one plays out just like the 2018 game.
Washington State quarterback Anthony Gordon leads the country in passing yards with 5,228 yards but tossed 16 interceptions this season. He has 45 touchdown passes and completes 72% of his throws.
Following consecutive five-win seasons, Air Force rallied for 10 wins in 2019 for the third time in the last six years.
Game Time/TV Channel/Streaming
The Cheez-It Bowl will begin at 10:15 p.m. ET in Phoenix, Arizona on Friday, Dec. 27 and can be seen on ESPN and WatchESPN.

The Best Bet
Let’s go with Air Force here. Both of these teams’ records against the number show Washington State has been overvalued and Air Force is undervalued all season long. If the Falcons steal a few possessions with interceptions, I like their chances even better. Air Force won seven games in a row to close out the season, and six of those games were won by at least two scores. The Falcons have been rolling toward the finish.
Pick: Air Force -3
