Point spread, total, money line, injury report and more for Cardinals-Rams in Week 17

The NFC West rivals are playing out the string on Sunday. The key question is who will rest. We break down notable odds, including the point spread, trends, and ATS history for this Week 17 matchup.

The biggest news heading into this game is the health of Kyler Murray. Currently, both the over/under and moneylines are off the board, likely due to this news. Regardless, the Cardinals are underdogs, a scenario they’re a fantastic 9-4-1 ATS. Murray only managed 163 passing yards in the Week 13 matchup in the loss, a game where the Rams blew them out 34-7. If Murray were to miss this game, Brett Hundley would be next to start. In relief last week, Hundley threw for 49 yards, completing 4-of-6 pass attempts. Without knowing who’ll start in this game, it’s tough to gauge how this Cardinals offense will perform. One thing that’s for sure, the Cardinals could choose to run the ball often, paving the way for Kenyan Drake. He was scripted out of the game in the loss, carrying the ball only 11 times for 37 yards. If they can keep the game close, he could have a much more attractive looking game.

As for the Rams, they’re in a position they haven’t been in quite a while, as they’ve been eliminated from playoff contention. It couldn’t come at a worse time, as Jared Goff has been throwing the ball extremely well with two touchdowns thrown in four straight games. Against the Cardinals, Goff easily had one of his best games of the season, throwing for 424 yards on 32 completions. With this Cardinals defense as poor as they are, it’s hard to not like the matchups for Robert Woods, Brandin Cooks and Cooper Kupp. Todd Gurley is also in a prime spot after rushing for 95 yards on 19 attempts in the win in Week 13. Regardless of who is throwing for the Cardinals in this game, the Rams should be able to handle them to close out the season.
