Friday night will chock-full of action, as there will be an exciting 13-game slate. The 76ers are fresh off their most impressive win of the year, as they topped the East Conference-leading Bucks by 12 on Christmas Day. But now they’ll look to get revenge against the Heat in Miami, who mounted an impressive comeback to defeat Philadelphia earlier this month. Will Joel Embiid be able to continue the impressive tear he’s been on? We’ll have to wait and see.
You should also be on the lookout for the Nets-Rockets matchup. Both teams are coming off disappointing losses and want to find some momentum. Brooklyn fell to the the lowly, in-state rival Knicks on Thursday while Houston squandered a chance to humiliate a diminished Golden State team on Christmas Day. Spencer Dinwiddie has been on a roll for the Nets in the absence of Kyrie Irving, and James Harden will surely look to bounce back from Wednesday’s 24 point performance, which actually low for him.
