Leonard Fournette won’t play in Week 17

The Jaguars will be without their starting running back against the Colts.

Leonard Fournette has been downgraded to doubtful with a neck injury and illness, but he went on social media and said that he wouldn’t be able to play due to the flu. Fournette will end a high usage season with 265 rushing attempts for 1,152 yards and three touchdowns, along with 73 receptions for 522 yards. He sits as the sixth fantasy running back in PPR after getting a huge boost in receiving work, as he hit 100 targets.

This week against the Colts, the Jaguars will go to rookie Ryquell Armstead, who didn’t get much work this season due to Fournette’s massive touch numbers. He costs just $4,400 on DraftKings and should see the bulk of the work against the Colts. He will likely be an often-used option this week in DFS.
