Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. fell ill Friday and didn’t practice with his team after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday with a nagging groin injury that’s been bothering him. He is listed as questionable for his team’s Week 17 matchup against the Bengals.

Although Beckham has had a down year, he is only 46 yards away from notching his fifth 1,000-yard season. You have to think he’ll find the motivation to reach that mark.

Beckham has had two solid performances in a row but only recorded two receptions for 39 yards last time he faced Cincinnati’s lowly defense. He’ll definitely want to be on the field, and will probably play, but he’s been too unpredictable this year. Adding a hamstring injury and sickness to his inconsistency won’t help his production.

You should sit Beckham this week and make a safer play.
