NBA action will be light on Sunday, as there will be a four-game slate beginning at 8 p.m. ET. Although there aren’t may teams playing, we have some quality contests to look forward to. Houston will travel to take on New Orleans at the Smoothie King Center for the first time since Nov. 11. In the last meeting between the Rockets and Pelicans, James Harden and Russell Westbrook combined for 65 points to secure a six-point victory. But New Orleans didn’t have its leading scorer, Brandon Ingram. This time Ingram will be back in the mix to help the Pelicans compete on both ends.
The last game of the night will be the third Mavericks-Lakers matchup of the season. The season series is tied up at 1-1 and both Luka Doncic and LeBron James are averaging triple-doubles against one another this year. This showdown between two elite playmakers should make for a contest with plenty of highlight plays and some impressive stat lines.
