Miles Sanders injured, Boston Scott runs for 3 TDs

Boston Scott comes up big against Giants.

Miles Sanders was forced from their Week 17 game against the Giants with an ankle injury. The Eagles are in a must-win spot and if Sanders can’t return, they will lose yet another starting running back. Jordan Howard is active but Boston Scott has received all of the work so far.

If the Cowboys were to lose to Washington, the Eagles could still get into the playoffs with a loss, but the Cowboys currently have a lead in their matchup.

UPDATE: We never saw Jordan Howard, but we sure saw Boston Scott, as he stepped up in a big way in Sanders’ place, scoring three touchdowns and topping 130 total yards as he helped the Eagles defeat the Giants to win the NFC East and get into the playoffs.
