Chicago Bulls PF Lauri Markkanen is questionable to play Monday vs. the Milwaukee Bucks. Zach LaVine, Wendell Carter Jr. and Tomas Satoransky are all listed as probable. This isn’t anything new for the Bulls — they love to list every player on their injury report as probable. So we shouldn’t worry about LaVine, Carter or Sato. Markkanen has been held out of practice with an illness recently, though he did play over the weekend vs. the Atlanta Hawks, scoring 25 points in just 21 minutes in the blowout win.
Fantasy Basketball Analysis: Chicago Bulls PF Lauri Markkanen
If Markkanen were to miss this game, Thaddeus Young would likely start in his place. Young played 23 minutes in the win over Atlanta and would be a decent value play on DraftKings with Markkanen out. We’d also see more usage for LaVine on offense without Markkanen’s presence and rookie standout Daniel Gafford could get some more run at PF off the bench. I’d actually prefer Gafford as a GPP value pivot off of Thad Young if Mark sits.
