We’ve got six games on tap in the NBA for Monday night’s slate. There’s really no exciting matchups, so we’ll go over a few streaks and injuries to track. The Miami Heat are on a five-game winning streak and welcome in the Washington Wizards, who are barely fielding a G League caliber team. The Wizards could be without SG Bradley Beal again as he nurses a sore leg. If that’s the case, this game could get ugly fast.
The other big injury we’re tracking — well two — is the Minnesota Timberwolves’ top two players: Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. KAT has been dealing with a knee injury and Wiggins is sick. Both are questionable to play vs. the Brooklyn Nets and could swing the line in this game dramatically before lock. The Atlanta Hawks have to play another game without Trae Young and their losing streak could get pushed to 11 games against the Orlando Magic tonight. Anyway, let’s go over the opening spreads for Monday night’s six-gamer.
Heat @ Wizards (+9.5, 228.5) 7:00 p.m. ET
Hawks @ Magic (-12, 213) 7:00 p.m. ET
