The 2020 NFL playoff field is set, and that brings 36 possible matchups for Super Bowl 54. We get a host of interesting matchups that could make for a fun Super Bowl. Every matchup offers some kind of storyline worth noting, although some would be a little more intriguing than others.
DraftKings Sportsbook released odds for all 36 possible Super Bowl 54 matchups. It is no surprise that the teams with first round byes have the best odds of matching up on February 2nd. They top the list of futures odds, and getting that first round bye is critical. According to one apparent study, teams with a first round bye get to the Super Bowl at a rate seven times that of seeds 3 through 6, dating back to 2000.
It is no surprise the Ravens top the list of best odds. Their potential matchups are first, second, fourth, eighth, tenth, and 11th. The 49ers have two of the top three in odds, but the Chiefs end up bunched a little higher together. The 49ers remaining four matchups are seventh, 16th, 17th, and 19th. The Chiefs matchups are third, fifth, sixth, 12th, 13th, and 15th.
