UPDATE: Simmons is dealing with an illness but was not listed on the 5:30 NBA injury report for Tuesday’s slate. So it looks like he’s fine and will start against the Pacers.
Philadelphia 76ers G/F Ben Simmons missed practice Monday due to an illness.

We don’t know what Simmons’ status is for Tuesday’s game vs. the Indiana Pacers. He could be ruled out beforehand, he could be fine, he could be a game-time decision. So at this point there’s not much info we can go off of. It is New Year’s Eve, though, so I mean there’s a chance Simmons just sits out until the New Year and perhaps the week. The Sixers only play two games this week: Tuesday vs. IND and Friday vs. HOU. If Simmons is limited or out, Joel Embiid, Josh Richardson, Raul Neto and James Ennis get a boost.
