UPDATE: Mack was listed as limited for Wednesday’s practice.

The Indianapolis Colts could get a huge return in Week 14. Running back Marlon Mack returned to practice on Wednesday, according to Ian Rapoport, and has a chance of playing this weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Mack broke his hand in Week 11 and was replaced by Jonathan Williams. Nyheim Hines has gotten work as a complementary option. Williams rushed for 116 yards in relief in Week 11 and then 104 yards in Week 12. He had 14 rushing yards and 11 receiving yards in Week 13.

Fantasy football analysis: Colts RBs Marlon Mack, Jonathan Williams

There is a chance of some rust, but a broken hand seems less likely to be at risk of aggravation when Mack returns. It’s not like a hamstring or quad injury where it seems like player’s regularly aggravate the injury.

Williams would lose his fantasy value and not be worth starting in most formats if Mack returns this weekend. As for Mack, he faces a Bucs defense that has been fairly solid against the run. He’s worth starting, but is not quite a must start in Week 14. This past weekend, Leonard Fournette rushed for 38 yards and had nine receptions for 53 yards. The previous weekend, Brian Hill and Quadree Ollison combined for 34 rushing yards and four receptions for 20 yards.
