The Chicago Bears ruled out wide receiver Taylor Gabriel for Week 14 due to the concussion suffered in Week 12. He sat out all three days of practice and will not play on Thursday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys.
In Gabriel’s place, Anthony Miller will see a continued up-tick in work opposite Allen Robinson. Last week on Thanksgiving, Miller was targeted a team-high 13 times and caught nine passes for 140 yards. He has been targeted 33 times over the past three games and caught 21 passes for 271 yards.
Fantasy football analysis: Bears WRs Anthony Miller, Taylor Gabriel
The Cowboys have given up the seventh fewest fantasy points to the wide receiver position this season and Mitchell Trubisky has been highly inconsistent. That being said, Miller’ volume of late makes him worth a WR3/flex start in many formats in Week 14.
Gabriel is still worth rostering if you don’t have urgent needs, but with two concussions this season, it may take some time to see him back in the lineup.
