Adam Thielen appears to have had a setback with his hamstring

The Minnesota Vikings had a walkthrough on Wednesday instead of a full practice, but there was still bad news on the estimated injury report. The team listed wide receiver Adam Thielen as a DNP, which is a downgrade from his limited status last week.

Thielen has been sidelined with the hamstring injury since aggravating it in Week 9. He looked on track to have a shot at playing this past Monday, but was downgraded to out the day before. The fact that he was listed as a DNP for Wednesday’s report suggests he had a notable setback.

Fantasy football analysis: Vikings WR Adam Thielen

Keeper and dynasty players will want to keep Thielen on their rosters, but in single season re-draft leagues might be time to move on and clear space if you need it. Thielen likely will return at some point, but with fantasy football playoffs at hand, time is officially running out.
