UPDATE: Tony Pollard is INACTIVE.
The Dallas Cowboys released their final injury report, and running back Tony Pollard is questionable due to an ankle injury suffered in practice. Pollard was not on the Monday practice participation report, but was a DNP on Tuesday and Wednesday due to the injury.
Fantasy football analysis: Cowboys RBs Tony Pollard, Ezekiel Elliott
Pollard is a game-day decision, and given his two missed practices, his chances of playing seem to be slim. It should not impact most fantasy football rosters, however. Outside of 16+ team leagues, most fantasy players are not starting Pollard on their rosters.
This is more about potentially raising Ezekiel Elliott’s ceiling without the complementary option taking snaps. If Pollard can’t play, the Cowboys would likely promote Mike Weber from their practice squad for the game. He would potentially see limited work, but Elliott would be the go-to guy. Elliott is a must-start against a shaky Bears defense on Thursday Night Football.
