The Benny Snell train is going to continue for at least one more week. Pittsburgh Steelers Running back James Conner told the media on Thursday that he will not play on Sunday when they travel to face the Arizona Cardinals, according to beat writer Chris Adamski.

Conner separated his shoulder in Week 8 and aggravated the injury when he returned in Week 11. Jaylen Samuels initially took over the starting role, but Benny Snell has now taken that job and Samuels is working in the passing down role.

Fantasy football analysis: Steelers running backs

Snell is the starter for fantasy purposes in both standard and PPR leagues. Samuels has some deeper PPR value. The bigger question for now is when Conner might return for fantasy players. He’s getting in limited workouts, so one would think he should return in the next week or two. The Steelers face the Bills and Jets the next two weeks after this weekend, both of which offer decent value against running backs.
