The Dallas Cowboys released their inactive report for Week 14 Thursday Night Football, and running back Tony Pollard is INACTIVE. Pollard was questionable this week after being added to the injury report on Thursday with an ankle injury. He was a DNP on Thursday and Friday.
Fantasy football analysis: Cowboys RB Tony Pollard
If you’re in traditional fantasy leagues, Pollard being active or inactive should have little impact on your fantasy football roster decisions. Ezekiel Elliott is a must-start whether or not Pollard is around. On the other hand, Pollard is not someone to start in most traditional fantasy leagues — outside of 16+ team leagues or those with deeper rosters.
If you’re in DFS, Pollard would have been an intriguing cheap option for Showdown given his work in the passing game in recent weeks. Instead, Jamize Olawale will likely get some extra work in place of Pollard. Elliott remains the main rushing option in this offense by a long shot.
