The San Antonio Spurs will get PF/C LaMarcus Aldridge (thigh) back in the lineup for their game against the Sacramento Kings on Friday night. Aldridge has missed the past two games for San Antonio, so his return will be welcomed, though the Spurs are coming off a comeback win over the Rockets.
Fantasy Basketball Analysis: San Antonio Spurs PF/C LaMarcus Aldridge
With Aldridge back in the lineup, Jakob Poeltl should go back to the bench after starting the past couple games. That makes him a downgrade in both season-long and DFS, so he isn’t really worth starting in either format. Lonnie Walker IV also gets a bit of a downgrade, though I could see him being viable in fantasy. He scored 28 points in 35 minutes in the win over Houston, and you don’t just ignore something like that if you’re coach Gregg Popovich. I’d scoop up Walker in season-long and at $4,100 on DraftKings, I don’t mind him as a value play.
