Adam Vinatieri ruled out against Buccaneers

Adam Vinatieri’s Hall-of-Fame career could be over after a knee flare-up sidelines him in Week 14

Adam Vinatieri won’t suit up for Week 14 after having a pre-game flare-up in Week 13, which contributed to him missing three field goals in the Colts loss to the Titans. Indianapolis signed Chase McLaughlin earlier in the week in case Vinatieri couldn’t go and he will start against the Buccaneers.

At the age of 46, Vinatieri has had one of his worst seasons ever, missing eight field goals and six extra points. With more clutch kicks than you can mention, including two game winners in Super Bowls, Vinatieri seems destined for the Hall-of-Fame. This very well may be the end of his storied career.

Fantasy football analysis: Colts K Adam Vinatieri

Tampa Bay has allowed the second-most field goal attempts and the ninth-most extra point attempts his season and the Colts tried four field goals last week. There’s a good chance that newly-signed McGlaughlin will have fantasy value against the Buccaneers
