Warriors’ Stephen Curry has undergone a second surgery on his broken left hand to remove pins from first procedure, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. Curry is still on track to be re-evaluated in February.— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) December 6, 2019
Shams also says that Curry is on track to be looked at again in February, but I can’t imagine the Warriors want to rush back the two-time NBA MVP. This also seems like a normal thing, right, to remove pins from the first procedure, so it seems everything is OK with Curry’s hand.
If you’ve got Curry in season-long leagues, he’s still worth a bench spot or IR spot. If you’re thin on space, I still don’t think you should drop him. If he comes back at the end of the season, I don’t see why he wouldn’t be 100% and the same player. The Warriors are also without Klay Thompson (knee), who isn’t expected to return this season.
