The New York Giants are officially set to start Eli Manning at quarterback in Week 14 against the Philadelphia Eagles. The team issued their final injury report on Saturday for Monday Night Football and they ruled out quarterback Daniel Jones, as well as tight ends Evan Engram and Rhett Ellison.

Jones sprained his ankle last week and it has been described as of the high ankle variety. Head coach Pat Shurmur has said it’s a more moderate version, but it still is going to cost him at least a week in a walking boot.

Fantasy football analysis: Giants offense

The Giants have dealt with a host of injuries to their offense, one of the many reasons they’re in the hunt for the top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Manning struggled enough that they made the switch to Daniel Jones, so Manning’s return is not exactly a sizable upgrade. There might be a modest burst of enthusiasm, but Eli is in the final days of his career. It’s more a swan song than anything else. Nothing really changes in terms of fantasy value.
