You are not wrong if it feels like Julian Edelman is listed as questionable EVERY week. He has been almost all season. Officially, he has a shoulder injury that earns him that designation, but he has yet to miss a game this season.
In fact, Edelman has been on a pretty good run lately. He has 33 targets in his last three games to go with 252 yards and a touchdown. As usual, he will be an essential part of whatever offensive game plan the Patriots run in a potential AFC title game preview.
Mohamed Sanu’s injury situation has been a little more serious. He’s been dealing with an ankle injury, but did manage to get back on the field last week. He did not play much, catching three passes on five targets for just 14 yards. But he should be closer to full speed this week.
Fantasy football analysis, New England Patriots WRs Julian Edelman and Mohamed Sanu
Obviously Edelman is a great player to have in your lineup. Whatever the national conversation currently says about Tom Brady’s rather average looking play lately, he still manages to get the ball to Edelman.
Sanu should see more playing time this week, but it’s harder to recommend him as a fantasy starter.
