How to handle Jordan Howard’s injury in Week 14 fantasy football

It’s not looking good for Howard this week.

It looks like the Philadelphia Eagles will be without running back Jordan Howard again this week. Howard is still dealing with a shoulder injury that has kept him out of action since Week 9. He did manage to get in some limited work at practice this week, but he still has not been cleared for contact, which is kind of a problem for a football player.

Howard was in the midst of a pretty solid fantasy season. Through nine games, he had 525 rushing yards six touchdowns. He had another receiving score through his first nine games too.

Without Sanders, the Eagles will once again lean on Miles Sanders.

If Jordan Howard does play, he makes a great starting option in fantasy. But since it looks like he will not suit up, Sanders is another very fine option to get into your lineups this week.

Last week, against the Dolphins, Sanders had 83 yards on 17 carries. He had another 22 yards in the passing game, and added a touchdown too. The Giants defense might struggle even more than the Dolphins against running backs, so he makes a solid No. 1 running back option this week.
