Tracking Karl-Anthony Towns, Joel Embiid, Anthony Davis, others on December 8th NBA injury report [UPDATE]

Here we’ll track all the latest news and injuries for Sunday’s six-game main slate.

There are six games on Sunday’s main slate and we’ll be keeping an eye on all the latest injuries and lineup news heading into lock at 6:00 p.m. ET. Below is a table tracking each notable player, and we’ll drop in updates throughout the day with useful information for both DFS and season-long fantasy basketball.

UPDATE: Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) available, Andrew Wiggins will start, Jeff Teague a game-time call

Per the NBA injury report for tonight, KAT is available and Teague we’ll have to wait and see closer to game time. If Teague is out, Shabazz Napier will likely start and see big minutes. Wiggins is going to play, so Jarrett Culver and Robert Covington become less viable. KAT is still a good play overall though.

UPDATE: Rajon Rondo (hamstring) has been ruled out vs. Timberwolves

With Rondo out, we can expect more of Quinn Cook off the bench as the primary backup PG. He’d make for a decent value play on tonight’s slate and/or in Showdown on DK.

UPDATE: Cory Joseph (back) will start vs. Mavericks

UPDATE: Marvin Bagley (thumb) ruled out, Cory Joseph (back) a game-time decision vs. Mavericks

UPDATE: Matisse Thybulle (ankle) is available to play vs. Raptors

Thybulle will be able to give it a go tonight vs. Toronto. This impacts the value of Furkan Korkmaz a bit at wing, but doesn’t do much in terms of fantasy. It’s not an easy matchup for the Sixers, so I don’t know how crazy I am about playing Thybulle in DFS and season-long.

UPDATE: Bam Adebayo (groin) will play, Justise Winslow (back) out vs. Hornets

Bam is playing, so we can expect him to start and see his usual allotment of minutes. I think he’s a solid play in DFS and season-long so long as he isn’t on any restrictions. Winslow being out again, along with Goran Dragic, just means more Jimmy Butler goodness. Kendrick Nunn and Duncan Robinson should also see more minutes as a result.

UPDATE: Joel Embiid (hip) will play. Matisse Thybulle (ankle) questionable vs. Raptors

We knew Embiid was expected to play, but this news confirms that the big man will go against Toronto. This bumps Mike Scott out of the starting lineup and is a downgrade to Al Horford and Tobias Harris in DFS. If Thybulle is out, Scott could see more run, along with Furkan Korkmaz, who has been starting for the injured Josh Richardson.
