If you have Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs on your fantasy football roster, you are going to be in a bit of a bind in Week 14. The running back is dealing with a broken shoulder plate and is “a true game-time decision,” according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.
Jacobs sat out Wednesday and Thursday practices and then was listed as limited on Friday before being designated as questionable. By all media accounts, Jacobs did not do much work in that final practice.
Fantasy football analysis: Raiders RB Josh Jacobs
The Raiders don’t play until 4:25 p.m. ET. If you were able to grab DeAndre Washington or Jalen Richard, you can potentially afford to wait on the active/inactive decision for Jacobs. Neither is a great option as they will split work, but Washington is the standard add and Richard is the PPR add.
If you have no 4pm, SNF, or MNF alternative, you’re stuck in a tough spot. My gut says he does not play. He has been dealing with this for a while now, but he’s been able to regularly get in limited practice sessions. This week he missed two practices and the third was apparently very limited. But we’ll keep an eye out for more information.
