Julian Edelman, Mohamed Sanu ACTIVE for Week 14

Patriots will have full stable of WRs for their matchup vs. the Chiefs. We break down the fantasy football impact.

The New England Patriots generally throw names on the injury report just to have it amount to nothing. This was the same case with Julian Edelman and Mohamed Sanu, who are both active for Sunday’s matchup vs. the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14. Edelman has been dealing with a shoulder injury and didn’t see much work in practice this week. Sanu has an ankle issue, though he didn’t see much work in Week 13.

Fantasy Football Analysis: New England Patriots wide receivers

The Pats were never in danger of having Edelman or Sanu sit out it seemed. Had that been the case, N’Keal Harry ($4,000) would have turned into an excellent play on DraftKings and in season-long as a streamer. If you’re operating in the playoffs, Edelman is a must-start. I don’t think Sanu is worth throwing in there in deeper leagues, but this is a great matchup for Tom Brady ($6,100) and the Pats. Jakobi Meyers ($3,500) remains an appealing DFS play given the past two weeks of production. Phillip Dorsett ($4,400) should still see snaps, but would be risky in both formats.

Ultimately I’d say play Edelman and be cautious with the other guys, since most of them are boom-or-bust. The Pats offense hasn’t looked great recently, but this could be an awakening of sorts. If that’s the case, 2-3 of these WRs could pop a bit.
