College Football Championship week has come and gone and the College Football Playoff committee has already announced the field for this year’s CFP. After Saturday there really aren’t any surprises. Here’s how it shakes out:

No. 1 seed: LSU Tigers
No. 2 seed: Ohio State Buckeyes
No. 3 seed: Clemson Tigers
No. 4 seed: Oklahoma Sooners

Saturday did not see much drama, but there was a modest change. OSU, LSU and Clemson all took care of business and secured bids into the playoff. George’s loss to LSU bumped them out and Oklahoma’s thrilling OT win over No. 7 Baylor was enough to lift the Sooners into the field at 12-1 and with another Big 12 title.

LSU absolutely dominated the Bulldogs in the SEC Championship behind QB Joe Burrow’s 349 yards and four TDs. The Tigers defense was stifling for Georgia QB Jake Fromm and the Bulldogs run game, holding them to 25 carries for 61 yards. Now, LSU will take on Oklahoam in the CFP Semifinal.

Ohio State needed a big comeback to hold off Wisconsin in the Big Ten title game, going down 21-7 at halftime before 27 unanswered points in the second half. Justin Fields padded his case for the Heisman trophy by throwing for 299 yards and three TDs. RB J.K. Dobbins posted 172 yards on 33 carries and a TD. That resulted in the Buckeyes dropping from the top spot to No. 2 and a matchup Clemson.

Clemson also dominated in their game, the ACC Championship vs. Virginia. QB Trevor Lawrence threw for 302 yards and four TDs, including three to WR Tee Higgins, who also had nine catches for 182 yards in the 62-17 whomping.

There’s a lot of interesting QB narratives going on in this top 4. Oklahoma QB Jalen Hurts transferred from Alabama because of Tua Tagovailoa. Justin Fields left Georgia for Ohio State after losing out to Jake Fromm. Joe Burrow left Ohio State for LSU in 2018 after he realized he would lose out to Dwayne Haskins (now with Washington in the NFL). This QB carousel has set up what should be some very exciting matchups in the CFP.
