UPDATE: The Jets have announced that Ryan Griffin is DOUBTFUL to return with an ankle injury.

New York Jets tight end Ryan Griffin has left the team’s Week 14 matchup with the Miami Dolphins due to an unknown injury. Griffin caught one pass for eight yards and then went to the locker room, according to beat writer Brian Costello. He was replaced by Daniel Brown, according to reporter Eric Allen.

Griffin was questionable for the game due to a mid-week illness. He has emerged as the starter since Chris Herndon went on injured reserve. He scored touchdowns in back-to-back games in Weeks 11 and 12.
