UPDATE: Parker will not return for the second half of Sunday’s game vs. the New York Jets due to a concussion.

This is a tough blow for QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Phins the rest of the game. It’s early in the third quarter and Miami trails 16-9, so they’ll need to throw the ball to get back into this game. Allen Hurns and Isaiah Ford should pick up extra targets, as well as RB Patrick Laird.

The Miami Dolphins announced that wide receiver DeVante Parker is being evaluated for a concussion and is questionable to return. He had two receptions for 28 yards at the time of the head injury. Allen Hurns becomes the Dolphins leading receiver at this point.
