Derrius Guice broke off a 23-yard run but hit the ground hard and didn’t get up for a prolonged period. The medical team looked at his knee and then he was able to walk off to the medical tent for further evaluation.

It’s too early to speculate on his injury but we know he’s had plenty of trouble staying healthy. Adrian Peterson and Chris Thompson will take over while he is sidelined.

UPDATE

Washington announces that Guice is questionable to return.

UPDATE #2

Guice has been ruled out with a knee injury. He is currently on the bench wearing his pads, which is likely a good sign, but we are still in the dark about the extent of his injury.

Guice has been playing well since returning from his ACL and had 42 rushing yards on five carries before going down. Adrian Peterson got in for a two-yard touchdown after Guice left and will continue to lead the way with Chris Thompson as the primary receiving back.
